Events & Classes

Unless otherwise noted, classes are held at the Intersect Center, 45 S. Highway 71 in Arnolds Park, IA

GriefShare – A new session will begin Monday, April 15, continuing on Monday evenings through mid-July. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through  life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

Community Table - This monthly dinner is held on the second Thursday of each month from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. The event is open to all. Intersect partners with local churches to provide a point of connection for anyone in the community who would enjoy a no-cost, nutritious meal. Though administered by churches, there are no religious strings attached. The purpose is to connect the lonely, to feed the hungry, offering a gift of love to all who come.

Perspectives – Perspectives on the Global Christian Movement is not so much a course, as it is a “movement” involving tens of thousands of God’s people throughout the world finding their niche in God’s overall purpose to bless the nations. The program is offered around the country by teams of volunteers and alumni who have been personally impacted by Perspectives with a desire to mobilize their communities to God’s global purposes. It is hosted by various churches or non-profit organizations around the country so as to involve a network of churches and organizations that can reach out to the nations represented in their communities. PERSPECTIVES is not currently offered locally.

Information on any of above is available by contacting the Intersect office.
